When you ask a question, MAindTec Chat runs hybrid retrieval (dense embeddings plus BM25 keyword search), reranks results with Cohere, and grounds the answer in the top-ranked chunks with explicit page-level citations.

Yes. Every chat session belongs to its owner by default and is not visible to anyone else. You can rename, search, archive, or delete sessions at any time. File visibility is enforced separately: chat citations never expose files a user does not have permission to see.
